Houston, Texas — What an unforgettable experience at AfroTech 2025!

Our founder, Peter Iwuh, just returned from his first AfroTech Conference, and the energy was nothing short of electric. From connecting with potential partners and writers to meeting countless innovators and supporters of Tykoon AI’s mission — the entire week was a powerful reminder of why we’re building this platform.

“AfroTech was more than a conference — it was a movement. The ideas, the passion, and the community were inspiring. Being surrounded by so much Black excellence and innovation reaffirmed our purpose: to empower overlooked athletes through technology and AI.” — Peter Iwuh, Founder of Tykoon AI

During the event, Peter had the opportunity to meet incredible visionaries shaping the future of tech, sports, and AI — including Samantha Dorisca, the talented writer behind Tykoon AI’s feature story on AfroTech earlier this year. That connection, along with many others made throughout the conference, symbolizes how stories and innovation intersect to create lasting impact.

As an official #AfroTechInsider, Peter experienced the best of what AfroTech has to offer: authentic conversations, bold ideas, and a shared commitment to building tools that uplift and empower our communities.

“This experience left me inspired, motivated, and ready to take over,” Peter said. “We’re returning home to build even better — for our athletes, our creators, and everyone who believes in the power of opportunity through AI.”

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who showed love to Tykoon AI in Houston — from partners and founders to creators and athletes who stopped by to share ideas. Your support fuels us to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible at the intersection of sports, AI, and empowerment.

Here’s to the future — and to continuing this journey together.
